At Oakleigh Funeral Home, we offer flexible pre-planning options designed around you, whether through a once-off, inflation-protected prepayment that secures today’s prices, or through tailored funeral insurance provided by Oakleigh Life. For those over 65, our prepayment option allows you to fully customise your service and settle the costs in advance, with funds securely held in a professionally managed trust for complete peace of mind.
Pre-Paid Services
A Pre-Paid gives an individual the opportunity to plan and pay for “tomorrow’s” service at “today’s” price. All funds are invested into a trust account and remain in the client’s name until the time of need, at which point Oakleigh Funeral Home will recall the funds.
What is required:
Minimum age of 65+ years.
An appointment with an Oakleigh Consultant.
Your SA identity document.
Pre-Arranged Services
In order to streamline the process of funeral arrangements for your family during the time of your passing, your personal wishes for your service will be recorded with Oakleigh, with no financial obligation. This exercise is also helpful in ascertaining whether or not you have made adequate financial provision for the services required.
What is required:
An appointment with an Oakleigh Consultant.
Your SA identity document.
Funeral Policies
Services
A Funeral Policy is a type of insurance that is designed to contribute towards the costs associated with a funeral (such as funeral/memorial services, caskets, burial plots, flowers and other costs). Signing up for a Funeral Policy means that you would pay a set monthly amount, for a pre-determined funeral cover, paid out in the event of insured’s death. Every policy is backed by trusted underwriters, giving you complete peace of mind.
What is required:
ID copies of all members listed on the policy, including that of the beneficiary.
Proof of bank account and proof of address.
